Hi everyone,
We’ve seen a noticeable increase in reports about Pophie’s conversation experience over the past few days, both here in the Community and in our Facebook Group.
The main issues currently being reported include:
- Pophie appears to be listening or responding, but no audio comes out
- Audio starts in the middle of a sentence or cuts off before the response is finished
- Very long response times or no response at all
- Repeated “I was distracted, can you say that again?” responses
- Conversations suddenly jumping back to older topics
- Responses becoming disconnected or unrelated to the current conversation
- Pophie moving her ears or arms as if she is responding, but not speaking
- Some users also reporting unstable connection behavior after recent updates
We’re seeing similar reports from multiple users, so we are not treating these simply as individual Wi-Fi, lighting, placement, or restart issues.
Our support team is currently collecting these cases together so they can be reviewed as a group.
If you’re experiencing one of these issues, please send us through:
Pophie App → Support Chat
and include:
- Your Pophie’s SN
- What happened
- The approximate time it occurred
- A short video or screenshot, if available
The approximate time is especially helpful because it allows us to locate the relevant logs more accurately.
If you’ve already reported the issue
You do not need to repeat the same troubleshooting or submit the same case again.
If possible, simply add a recent occurrence time or any new behavior to your existing Support Chat case.
About response times during the holiday
Our engineering team is currently on the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday in China, so issues that require engineering investigation may take a little longer than usual.
However, our support team is still checking, recording, and following up on reports every day during the holiday.
Once the engineering team returns, the cases we’ve collected will be prioritized for investigation.
We understand how frustrating this is, especially for users whose Pophie was previously working well and now feels noticeably different.
We are seeing your reports, we are keeping track of them, and we will continue following up.
Thank you for documenting the issues so carefully and helping us identify the patterns.
