Updating to this version
You can install this update manually through the Pophie App. If you don’t update manually, Pophie may automatically update between 3:00–5:00 AM local time while she is sleeping.
This update includes:
Better direction awareness after waking
Improved sound direction detection after Pophie wakes up, as well as how she looks for you after waking from sleep, to reduce instances of her turning in the wrong direction.
Improved gesture responses
Fixed an issue where Pophie might recognize the “shh” gesture but not turn away in some situations. Also reduced instances where touching her head or face could accidentally trigger a waving response.
Smoother eye animations and movements
Improved transitions between eye animations and movements for a smoother experience. Also fixed occasional issues where Pophie’s eye movements could appear shaky or become stuck.
New battery reminders in the App
When Pophie hasn’t been interacted with for an extended period, the App can now send reminders if her battery is low or she hasn’t been charged for a long time.
Improved sleep detection
Improved sleep detection after interactions and in dim lighting during the daytime, reducing instances of Pophie mistakenly going to sleep during the day.
