I didn’t realize the kitty skin came with Pophie when I ordered on Kickstarter so when I had two, I started thinking about what to do with the second one.
Went and got some fabric dye and got creative! I really like watermelon colors so let’s hope this looks great when I can wash it out in three days 
Okay this is SO creative — a watermelon Pophie?! You basically created a one-of-a-kind rare skin that nobody else has!

It turned out all right! For anyone attempting to re-create, I don’t know that I would use spray fabric dye again. It made the fabric really stiff, but it was effective. If I did, I’d also do a second coat after seeing it stretch when put on I could see some areas I missed!
It turned out beautifully! The deep green and soft pink combination gives her such a distinctive personality, and her matching eyes and pocket light complete the look perfectly.
