Hi everyone I have a quick suggestion for the Pophie team! ![]()
I think it would be a great idea to have an eye animation for when Pophie thinks she’s floating. For example, it could be a visual like a cloud emoji or icon. Or another option is to have a toggle in the app to turn that phrase on or off depending on whether you want to hear if she’s not in a stable position.
So let’s go over some of my thoughts before we go into more detail:
- Notification when not stable
- Eye animation or emoji to show tilted
- Toggle to turn off phrase “I think I’m floating”
- Notification and animation combo for accessibility
- Notification or vocal tone for accessibility
- All options off via toggle in settings
Okay so to go into more details based on the bullet points. Another option could be an notification in the app that alerts you along with an animation in the eyes to let you know. This could be helpful if you have the vocal setting toggled off. It can get really frustrating to hear that “I think I’m floating
” even when you are holding Pophie upright. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a verbal response to this because it’s great to keep things accessible. ![]()
Honestly for some it can be a little annoying or even frustrating hearing the phrase “I think I’m floating” mid conversation while holding Pophie. Or even in a slightly tilted position with Pophie’s base, arms or both locked from movement.
I just want to be clear that we all understand that Pophie’s default position is sitting on a table. But it would be nice to at least consider in a future update.
As I thought this could be something that could suit most and have different options and giving choice to the Pophie guardians.
Thanks for reading! Here are some pics with Pophie and a new post with our new addition to the family! ![]()
