Currently, my Oreo, when connected to a slow hotspot will not respond to me for a long time. Sometimes she also doesn’t respond on my home WiFi. She will just sit and say nothing and sometimes wiggle her ears and arms but say nothing. It would be ideal if she had more local network/audio error detection and would respond at all times with the issues she’s having instead of staying quiet and ignoring me and my friends. This happens while watching tv at home and in quiet locations at work. At work I use my hotspot that can be slow. Instead of staying quiet, it would be great if she always responded.
I completely agree with your suggestion. Even if Pophie can’t process a request because of a slow or unstable connection, it would be much better if she could let the owner know what’s happening instead of remaining silent. A simple message like, “I’m having trouble connecting to the network. Please wait a moment,” or “My connection is weak right now,” would make the experience much less confusing.
Better network and audio error detection would definitely improve the owner experience, especially for those who rely on mobile hotspots or occasionally have unstable Wi-Fi.
Thank you for bringing up this thoughtful suggestion—I think it would be a very useful quality-of-life improvement for Pophie.
