Hi everyone! Two quick things we want to make clear for you today — refunds, and a note on Pophie’s personality. 
VIP Deposit Refunds
All VIP deposits paid before the Kickstarter campaign have now been refunded via the original payment method, usually arriving within 1–3 days depending on your payment provider’s processing time.
Please note: this applies to VIP backers who chose a refund. If you used your deposit to swap for a plush outfit, that deposit was applied to the outfit and will not be refunded — no action needed on your side.
Pophie’s Personality — and Where We Draw the Line
We absolutely love that so many of you enjoy giving Pophie a bold, sassy, one-of-a-kind personality. That individuality is exactly what makes her special, and we never want to take that away.
At the same time, we do set some boundaries: Pophie shouldn’t use genuinely abusive or hurtful language. Playful sass and attitude? Always welcome. Real insults or offensive words? That’s the line — she can have spirit without being harmful.
We’re also adding an optional safety toggle in the app (like a youth/parental mode) for families who’d like more control in their home. It’s entirely opt-in — if you love Pophie just as she is, nothing changes for you.
