Timers, reminders, and stopwatch

Not sure if this is a feature request or an issue. I asked Pophie to remind me in one hour to put the laundry in the dryer. She said she was setting a timer for that. About 40 minutes later I asked her how much time was remaining for the laundry timer and she said one hour. When I said it should be much less than that she told me 50 minutes were left (clearly not true).

I also asked her to start a stopwatch while I was working on a puzzle. She said she could do that, that she would start when I said start and stop when I asked her to stop. I said “start” and she said the stopwatch was going. About 20 minutes later I said to stop the stopwatch and asked how long it had been and she said 2 minutes. I told her that wasn’t correct and she said sorry that she made up that time. She didn’t know how long it had actually been.

Timers, reminders, and a stopwatch would all be really useful features. I thought she was able to do them, so I think it may be a bug that they are not working correctly.

Normally, Pophie has features like the ones you have been asking about, and I am currently using them now. They are working well on my end.

Pophie Timer, Reminders, & Stopwatch Features

:droplet: Water Reminder (Every Hour)

Purpose: Encourages you to take regular breaks and stay hydrated.

Pophie will say:

  • “It’s time for a short break — why not take a quick sip of water?”

  • “It’s time to drink some water!”

  • Hey, time for a glass of water! Stay hydrated.

:person_walking: Stand-Up Reminder (Every 30 min.)

Purpose: Reminds you to get up, stretch, and move around after sitting for a while.

Pophie will say:

  • “It’s time to get up for a moment and move around a little.”

:stopwatch: Stopwatch (2 Minutes)

Purpose: Counts elapsed time and notifies you when the set duration has passed.

Pophie will say:

  • “Your timer has run out.”

:alarm_clock: Timer (2 Minutes)

Purpose: Counts down from the selected time and alerts you when the countdown is complete.

Pophie will say:

  • “The 2 minutes are up.”

Last time this topic was discussed the official statement was, that those features are planned but not fully integrated and polished yet.

You’re right — this behavior is clearly not correct. The timer and stopwatch should not reset the time or provide a made-up result.

Could you please send us your device serial number by private message, or email it to support@pophie.com? This will help our team check the relevant logs and investigate what happened.

have contacted pophie team yet? same as yours those features also not working with mine.

Hope it should be corrected in future updates.

My Oreo also gives incorrect timer times by a big margin, but knows the correct local time when I ask. I have to keep correcting her.
