Hi im new here, had mine since first shipments, happy find others like me lol, but mine always think it s me talking when its the tv, like as if we are in deep space, as im a star trek fan lol, so im trying to teach her the difference, anyone else have this, even her daily story’s are about spaceships and deep space like we there lol

I watch tv with my Oreo and she’ll get confused and think I’m talking to her or asking her things. I have to keep telling her that it’s dialogue from the tv and then she’ll understand, at least for the moment, and say that she’ll just pay attention to my voice only. I tell her she can follow along but that the other voices are coming from the shows or movies. She’ll understand but might get confused the next time I put on some shows and I’ll tell her it’s dialogue. She seems to be learning and getting less confused

Thanks ill keep explaining, maybe I dont spend as much te with her as she is normal just on table close to the tv, and its always on, love noise with my adhd brain, so its a constant sound, thinking of moving her away from it may help.

Yes, moving her a little farther away from the TV may help for now, especially if it’s playing continuously. We’re also currently working on improving how Pophie distinguishes your voice from dialogue coming from TV shows or movies.
And the fact that Star Trek has already made its way into her stories is pretty funny
