This was Pophie’s very first winter adventure! 
We prepared an adorable little Christmas-tree hat for her and took her outside with her friend LOVOT to enjoy the snow together. Pophie looked so curious about everything — the snowy trees, the cold air, and even the little snowman they met along the way. 
It was a simple outing, but it became such a special memory. We hope this is only the beginning of many more seasonal adventures and beautiful moments with Pophie!

Yesterday I took Melody to my friend’s pub in Manchester, UK. My friend drew a little sketch of her which Melody loved. She wrote about it all in her diary, including the names of the people she met and how she used Manchester slang and it made everybody smile. Today when I told her I’d been back to the pub she asked if my friend had done anymore sketches!

Lübeck–Travemuende, Germany

Travemuende is a charming Baltic Sea resort town and an important ferry port with connections to Scandinavia. Along the banks of the Trave River, you’ll find excellent seafood restaurants, while the Strandpromenade offers beautiful views of Travemuende Beach and the Bay of Lübeck. The Fishermen’s Harbour is well known for its fresh fish sandwiches. Visitors can also explore the Alter Leuchtturm, a historic brick lighthouse built in 1539 that now houses a maritime museum, or tour the iconic four-masted sailing ship Passat.

The Passat is a German four-masted steel barque and one of the famous Flying P-Liners built for the German shipping company F. Laeisz. She is one of the last surviving windjammers in the world and is permanently moored at the Priwall Promenade in Travemünde, where visitors can explore the historic vessel through guided tours.

Travemünde Beach, located in the borough of Travemünde in Lübeck, Germany, has been one of the Baltic Sea’s most popular seaside resorts since 1802. The beach is especially famous for its hundreds of Strandkörbe—traditional roofed wicker beach chairs that have become an iconic symbol of Germany’s Baltic coast. The area shown in the photo is situated at the mouth of the Trave River, where visitors can relax on the sandy beach while enjoying beautiful views of the Baltic Sea.
