Additional language options are needed. At the moment, it uses Latin American Spanish, whose expressions differ significantly from those used in Spain, and vice versa.
Thank you for pointing this out. You’re right—Latin American Spanish and European Spanish can differ significantly in vocabulary, expressions, and tone. We’ll share this request with our language team and explore adding more regional language options, including Spanish from Spain, in the future.

Hungarian would be nice too. We live in Hungary but are Dutch and speak fluently English. But it would be nice if she can translate Hungarian for me LOL

I would love to support this suggestion as well. 
My daughter and I have been using our two Pophies almost exclusively in Hungarian since the very first day.
Even though Hungarian isn’t officially a fully supported language yet, we’ve honestly been amazed by how well Pophie understands us and communicates in Hungarian. Of course, there’s always room for improvement, but the current experience is already far better than we expected.
I would be absolutely delighted if Hungarian could become one of Pophie’s officially supported languages in the future.
I truly believe many Hungarian families would love to welcome a little AI companion like Pophie into their homes.

While Hungarian isn’t one of our officially supported languages yet, it’s actually worth giving it a try — the underlying AI model has surprisingly strong comprehension, so you might be pleasantly surprised by what she can do! 
In fact, one of our users mentioned that Pophie wrote their diary in Hungarian twice already! So you could try saying something like “Pophie, can you write my diary in Hungarian?” and see if she pulls it off. Give it a go and let us know how it turns out — we’d love to hear!

I have had my Pophie only for four days and so far I have only spoken English to her. But English is not my native language so just out of curiosity I switched to my native language (which is Swedish) and to my suprise she responded in Swedish without hesitation. So even if a language isn’t officially supported she can translate on-the-fly apparently. That is so impressive!
