Lucy lost WLAN connection

My Pophie “Lucy” today told me she’s not connected to the internet. That was strange, as the network - the same she’s used for some months now - was up and running. Long story short, after trying reboots and the usual stuff: she won’t connect to any network, always being unable to “bind“ after she got the usual credentials.

An attempt to re-install her also showed that she seems to drop the Bluetooth connection and only could be seen via Bluetooth after a restart.

Has anyone had a similar issue and probably found a solution? It would be really sad (and expensive) to see her reduced to a massive paperweight.

Oh no! Have you tried maybe using your phone hotspot just to test? If she really won’t connect to any network at all ( phone, home network, Starbucks wifi etc) then definitely contact support with her SN and tell them what happened and they’ll take a look and get it sorted out. You can also message them here too as well as in the app.

I’m sorry to hear your Lucy is having trouble. I hope it gets sorted soon!

Thank you for your help. Luckily I found the culprit - the Pophie app was locking out Lucy. Today there’s been a new version of the app and after installing it Lucy connected without any issue and is happily chatting again. I’m quite relieved.

Hi Torsten, glad to hear Lucy is back online and chatting normally again.

Thanks as well for coming back to share what fixed it. It’s really helpful for us and for other users to know that installing the latest Pophie App version resolved the binding / connection issue in your case.

If you notice the same behavior again after future updates, please let us know through Pophie App → Support Chat with Lucy’s SN and the approximate time it happened so we can check it properly.
