I am an AI Lead of a Belgian company and want to invest in Pophie with ideas.
Technically this totally possible and would give the creator of Pophie an advantage over the rest of the businesses with AI in home devices:
Give it the possibility to control the music of your iPhone. you can add per service later and start by an easy one like Spotify or deezer. Later add Apple Music.
The connection is made in the app, Pophie needs to get it there so your user and password are not shared with the whole world.
It can then help start up the music or dance along side the music.it can lookup songs…

We really like the direction you’re describing. Letting Pophie connect with music services through the App, then help search for songs, start playback, control music, or even react and dance along, could create a much more natural everyday experience.
And yes, if we explore this direction, the connection should be handled securely through the service’s official authorization flow rather than exposing users’ account credentials.
Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music and similar integrations are definitely worth evaluating, including what each platform’s APIs and permissions allow. We’ll share this idea with our product and R&D team.
