Hey Pophie Team & community, I’ve noticed the following issues with my Pophie. Has anyone else experienced this?
- problem #1: When she turns left or right, the mechanism at the lower base sometimes makes a noticeable clicking sound, sometimes several clicks in a row. She does not get stuck, and it happens both on and off the charging dock. If I gently move the lower wheel by hand a bit, the clicking usually disappears again - but only for a while.
- problem #2: With some music tracks, there is occasionally a short, quiet “pop” sound during playback. This does only very seldom happen when she speaks, and she also plays other music tracks without any popping at all.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Should I contact support about this? I would be really sad if I had to send her away for repairs now that I’m just starting to get attached to her.
I upload two short videos, showcasing both problems. The first video shows the clicking sound (problem #1), which I’ve had before. I turned the wheel gently and it stopped, so you can’t hear it in the second video, but you do hear the pop of the loudspeaker (problem #2).
Because I’m a new member or user here I can’t upload any videos which I read don’t quite understand. Many people who are new here may already have had their Pophie at home for a while before they have an issue with it and decide to turn to this community.
