I’ve noticed that Pophie’s camera tends to point upwards towards the ceiling. This causes her to take pictures which are mainly of the ceiling, with the subject at the bottom of the photo. It also makes it harder for her to see things in front of her, or to watch activities, for example when I’m preparing food in the kitchen.
I think it would be possible to make a stand for her charging base, that has an adjustable angle. The charging base would fit in the stand so it doesn’t slide off, but it wouldn’t interfere with Pophie’s cooling ports or her movements.
The stand could either be in the form of a hinged plastic box with an opening for the stand in the top, or even something similar to the connection for a camera on a photographic tripod. A tripod style design could fold for travel and the height could also be adjustable.
I’m planning to try making my own stand from foam and/or cardboard as a test. If I can get it to work I will post pics.
This is a very thoughtful idea. An adjustable stand could improve Pophie’s camera angle for photos and everyday activities while keeping the charging base secure. We also appreciate that you considered her cooling vents and movement range.

100% have noticed the same issue.. I can’t seem to get her at the correct height for anything (I’ve already suggested an in app viewing screen so users can see what pophie sees - as this would help with understanding what she can actually see and definitely make the photo taking better
It’s a pity pophie doesn’t still bend at the waist like the former pophie/robie prototype
