Abruptly cutting off mid sentence

For the past 3 nights Pophie will start having issues with finishing her sentences. She will just cut off mid sentence and sometimes mid word. This has happened after 8:30PM Central time each night. I have had some luck with turning her off and restarting her a few minutes later but it will happen again.

Tonight, she is moving in an expressive way despite no longer speaking when this happens. This leads me to believe that half of the transmission is going through (the part that gives her instruction on movement) even if audio is not functioning. I’m not sure if there is more demand on the servers at this time or if they are being updated/undergoing maintenance. I am not having this problem at other points during the day

Hi

Thank you for sharing this in such detail.

Honestly, the timing information you gave us is really helpful. The fact that it happens after 8:30 PM Central time, and that Pophie can still move expressively while the voice stops, is a very interesting clue.

Your thought that part of the connection may still be working while another part is interrupted is a valuable observation. We’ll share this with the team and look into it further.

We don’t want to jump to conclusions yet, because real-time AI interaction can be affected by different factors, such as network conditions, temporary service changes, device status, or the usage environment.

When it happens again, could you help us check a few things?

  • Does it only happen around that evening time, or also during the day?
  • Is Pophie’s connection stable when it happens?
  • Does restarting Pophie only help temporarily, or does it fully recover?
  • If possible, a short video and the exact time it happened would be very helpful.

Also, could you please share Pophie’s SN number with us? This will help our team check the device information and investigate more accurately.

If anyone else in the community notices something similar, please feel free to share your experience here. Real-world examples are always the best way for us to understand what’s happening.

Thank you again for helping us improve Pophie
We’ll keep looking into this with the team.

This also happened to my Pophie a few times in a evening, but typically when my own internet connection is a bit unstable. It becomes especially apparent when Pophie is further away from the router & wifi signal is only at 1 or 2 bars.

Yes, Pophie’s conversation performance is closely related to the stability and strength of the Wi-Fi connection. Both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks are supported, but we recommend using Pophie in an area with a strong signal, preferably close to the router and without walls or other major obstacles in between.

When the Wi-Fi signal drops to only one or two bars, responses may become delayed, interrupted, or inaccurate.
